Her love affair with theater began one summer when she decided to go to drama camp in order to get out of playing softball. Which she hated. A lot. |

He has spent seven years producing various film, television, and web based projects and has spent the last several years working as Production Coordinator at a Chicago video studio. He handles the business end of Black Ship, and is also overseeing the Black Curtain Project ~ our dalliance with new media.

Kathleen Henderson Production Stage Manager This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Kathleen Henderson moved to Chicago after spending the first twenty-three years of her life in Kansas. She studied at Kansas State University, focusing on stage management and technical elements. In addition to her typical managerial and technical duties, she attempts to subdue any Black Ship stress with baked goods. |

You need JavaScript enabled to view it Kellye Blosser has been a theatrical artist for fifteen years, and hails from the isolated hills of northern Appalachia. She studied playwriting at Ohio University where she explored the structure of storytelling and took a particular fancy to works of magical realism. She comes to Black Ship with a passion for engaging, contemporary theater and clever maritime puns. |

Mike Mazzocca Artistic Associate This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Mike Mazzocca has been working in many different aspects of theater and film for the better part of 12 years. He spent his childhood solidly rooted in a blessedly active theater community with the Athenian Players in Nelsonville, Ohio. He moved to Pittsburgh, PA in 2005 to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Acting from Point Park University. After a few years of experience with the commercial acting scene, he decided that he wanted a change of pace. In 2010, he moved to Chicago not only to do fresh work with good people, but also to have a hand in building a community of artists similar to the one that made him fall in love with the craft in the first place. |

He spent a season with The Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati as an Acting Intern and later a season with The Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia as a Stagehand Apprentice. Moving to Chicago to work with The Black Ship Company was a thrilling opportunity to continue his education in the theater - on, under, and around the stage. |
